Changelog

Every release, what changed, and when.

v1.24.5

LatestSep 8, 2026
  • Compatibility. Verified against WooCommerce 11.1 and WordPress 7.1 — "WC tested up to" raised to 11.1. No functional changes.

Requires WordPress 6.4+ · tested to 7.1 · PHP 8.0+

v1.24.4

Sep 1, 2026
  • WooCommerce version headers. The plugin now declares "WC requires at least: 7.0" and "WC tested up to: 11.0" so WooCommerce shows accurate compatibility information.
  • Marketplace channel support. Copies from the WooCommerce.com Marketplace unlock automatically and are licensed and updated by WooCommerce.com. Copies from affiliatefactorywp.com are unchanged.

Requires WordPress 6.4+ · tested to 7.1 · PHP 8.0+

v1.24.3

Aug 29, 2026
  • WooCommerce Cart & Checkout Blocks. The plugin now formally declares block-checkout compatibility alongside High-Performance Order Storage. Block checkout was already fully tracked through the Store API hook; WooCommerce's plugin screens now say so.
  • Security audit pass. Verified capability and nonce protection on every admin action, prepared statements on all custom-table queries, permission callbacks on every REST route, and HTTPS-only webhook delivery. No findings; no behavior changes.

Requires WordPress 6.4+ · tested to 7.1 · PHP 8.0+

v1.24.2

Aug 27, 2026
  • Branding: the product name now reads “Affiliate Factory WP” consistently everywhere — plugin header, admin screens, license notices, and emails. No functional changes.

Requires WordPress 6.4+ · tested to 7.1 · PHP 8.0+

v1.24.1

Aug 26, 2026
  • Leaderboard privacy: a new “Mask partner names” option shortens everyone else's name on the leaderboard (like “jam•••”) — each partner still sees their own name in full.
  • Includes 1.24.0: race-style leaderboard, weekly owner snapshot email, ISO currency dropdown, and improved Wise/bank payout batch files.

Requires WordPress 6.4+ · tested to 7.1 · PHP 8.0+

v1.24.0

Aug 26, 2026
  • Leaderboard race view: partners render as progress bars chasing the leader — choose Race or Simple table under Settings → Affiliate dashboard.
  • Weekly program snapshot: an optional weekly email to the site owner with visits, referrals, earnings, new affiliates, waiting applications, held referrals, payable balance, and top partners. Editable template with a test-send button.
  • Currency dropdown: pick from 65 ISO currency codes instead of typing.
  • Better payout batch files: real partner names, complete Wise template columns, and a clear notice when nothing is pending.
  • Payouts screen: cleaner spacing between sections.

Requires WordPress 6.4+ · tested to 7.1 · PHP 8.0+

v1.23.1

Aug 26, 2026
  • Wise joins the Payments settings: enable Wise payouts (batch-first — one CSV upload in your Wise account pays everyone), with an optional encrypted API token and a live “Test connection” button.
  • Clearer per-affiliate rates: the Default rate setting now explains that every affiliate can have a custom rate that beats the default, with a direct link and a pointer to the “Set rate” bulk action.

v1.23.0

Aug 26, 2026
  • Recurring commissions: referred WooCommerce Subscriptions now credit the original affiliate on every renewal — optional renewal rate and per-subscription cap.
  • Lifetime commissions: once referred, a customer stays linked to their affiliate; later purchases earn commissions with no cookie needed.
  • Creatives library: upload banners and text links once — every partner gets copy-ready HTML with their own referral link inside.
  • Short links: pretty /go/slug referral links that track like normal links.
  • Webhooks: signed JSON notifications for Zapier, Make, Slack, or any endpoint.
  • Leaderboard & milestone bonuses in the affiliate dashboard.
  • Payout batch CSVs: generic bank and Wise-style exports.
  • All new features are off by default — nothing changes until you switch them on.

Requires WordPress 6.4+ · tested to 7.1 · PHP 8.0+

v1.22.3

Aug 26, 2026
  • Safer updates. The plugin now declares its official update source (Update URI), so WordPress only ever accepts updates for it from Affiliate Factory's own server.
  • Marketplace-ready documentation: the readme now fully discloses every external service the plugin can contact — license server, optional CAPTCHA providers, email-marketing sync, and payout providers — plus new Installation and Screenshots sections.
  • No functional changes.

v1.22.2

Aug 25, 2026
  • Deeper mobile polish for the admin on phones: page titles and action buttons stack cleanly, the License screen’s key field and buttons go full-width, stat cards go single-column on small screens, and the section nav tightens up. Desktop is untouched.
  • Tested with WordPress 7.1.

v1.22.1

Aug 24, 2026
  • Compatibility: tested with WordPress 7.1 — removes the “not tested with your version” notice on current installs.
  • The sidebar menu icon is redrawn as pure outline frames — the interlocking squares are true cut-outs, crisp in every admin color scheme.
  • Includes 1.22.0: a license key is required to run the plugin — unlicensed installs stay dormant with only the License screen available. Expired licenses keep running (updates and support pause); refunded or disabled keys stop the plugin.

Requires WordPress 6.4+ · tested to 7.1 · PHP 8.0+

v1.22.0

Aug 24, 2026
  • License required to run. The plugin now stays dormant until a license key is activated: no tracking, forms, portal, REST API, or scheduled jobs. Only the License screen is available, with a clear activation notice; shortcodes render nothing on the public site until activation.
  • Activating a key switches everything on instantly. As always, an expired license keeps running — only updates and support pause until renewal — while refunded or disabled keys stop the plugin. A temporarily unreachable license server never locks out a licensed site.

Requires WordPress 6.4+ · tested to 6.8 · PHP 8.0+

v1.21.2

Aug 20, 2026
  • New brand identity. The Affiliate Factory mark — two interlocking brand squares — now appears as the WordPress admin menu icon and in the plugin header. Purely visual.
  • License screen & automatic updates (since 1.21.0): activate your key under Affiliates → License to unlock one-click updates and support.
