Comparing affiliate software? Start here.
Every page below follows the same rule: claims are only ever made about our own product, competitors are described by their pricing model rather than numbers that go stale, and nothing is disparaged. If another tool is the better fit for you, these pages say so.
First, the fork in the road
Before comparing individual products, decide which kind of tool you want. It is the decision that actually determines your costs, your compliance work, and who controls your program.
Self-hosted plugins
The program runs inside your WordPress site. You pay a flat license, your data stays in your database, tracking is first-party, and no percentage is taken from your revenue. You supply the hosting and the updates.
Affiliate Factory WP is one of these.
Hosted platforms
The vendor runs everything. You pay monthly — typically on tiers keyed to tracked orders, conversions, or revenue — and tracking runs through their infrastructure. You get less to maintain, in exchange for less control and a bill that grows with your success.
Genuinely the better choice if you are not on WordPress, or want the vendor handling payouts for you.

Feature lists agree far more than actual software does. Open a real WordPress admin running the real plugin, look at a held referral and the payout ledger, and judge it yourself. No signup.
