Creatives & short links

Upload banners and text links once — every partner gets copy-ready HTML with their own referral link inside. Plus pretty /go/name short links.

Creatives: ready-made promo material

Affiliates promote more when you make it effortless. The creatives library lets you upload promotional material once, and every partner sees it in their dashboard as copy-ready HTML with their own referral link already inside.

Adding creatives

Go to Affiliates → Creatives:

  1. Name it — partners see this label ("Summer sale banner 728×90").
  2. Pick the type: an image banner (upload the image in Media → Library first, then paste its URL) or a plain text link (you write the clickable words).
  3. Optionally set a landing page — the page the creative should send visitors to. Empty means the homepage. Landing pages must be on your own site, so every click is tracked and credited correctly.

Creatives can be paused (hidden from dashboards without deleting) and deleted permanently.

What partners see

In their dashboard, each active creative appears with a preview and an embed-code box. The generated code is a normal link wrapped around the banner or text:

  • the link points at your landing page with the partner's referral parameter already attached, and
  • it carries rel="sponsored" — the attribute search engines expect on affiliate links.

Partners select the code, copy, and paste it into their site. Done.

yoursite.com/?ref=jane works, but yoursite.com/go/jane looks better in a bio, a video description, or spoken out loud on a podcast.

Enable short links under Affiliates → Settings → Tracking → Short links. The URL base is configurable (go by default — you could use partner, with, anything).

How they behave:

  • Visiting /go/jane records the visit exactly like a normal referral link — same cookie, same attribution window, same fraud review — then redirects to your homepage.
  • Deep links work with ?to=/pricing appended: /go/jane?to=/pricing lands on your pricing page. Only same-site paths are allowed.
  • Campaign tags work too: /go/jane?campaign=youtube.
  • Every affiliate sees their own short link in their dashboard automatically.

If a partner changes their slug (when you allow self-service slug editing), their short link changes with it — links using the old slug stop tracking, exactly like normal referral links.
