Leaderboard & milestone bonuses
Friendly competition in the partner dashboard, and automatic one-time bonuses when affiliates hit referral milestones.
The leaderboard
A little friendly competition keeps partners promoting. Enable the leaderboard under Affiliates → Settings → Affiliate dashboard → Leaderboard and every partner sees the top performers of the recent period right in their dashboard.
You control:
- Style — Race (default) draws every partner as a progress bar chasing the leader, with rank badges and the viewer's own bar highlighted; Simple table is a quiet ranked list.
- Period — the rolling window (30 days by default).
- Places — how many rows to show (top 5 by default).
- Show earned amounts — off by default. When off, the board shows only slugs and referral counts; when on, it also shows what each top partner earned (and the race bars scale by earnings instead of counts).
The viewing partner's own row is highlighted, and partners are identified by their slug only — no names or emails are ever shown to other affiliates.
Milestone bonuses
Milestones award a one-time bonus the moment an affiliate's approved-referral count reaches a target — "10 approved referrals → $50", "50 → $250", up to five tiers.
Configure them under Affiliates → Settings → Commissions → Milestone bonuses: for each tier, set the referral count, the bonus amount, and an optional label partners will see in their ledger.
How bonuses behave:
- They're awarded automatically when the target is crossed — no admin action needed.
- Each milestone pays exactly once per affiliate, guaranteed by the same idempotency machinery used for order referrals.
- A bonus is an ordinary ledger entry of type bonus: it matures like any referral, counts toward the payable balance, and appears in the audit log.
- Only real referrals count toward the target — bonuses and adjustments don't count toward the next milestone.
Bonuses pair naturally with the leaderboard: the board shows who's close, the milestone gives them a reason to push.
